Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting our industry by 2026
- Develop and publish annual Future State reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Establish innovation pipelines aligned with emerging technological and societal shifts
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in applying foresight methodologies to product development
- Quantify market opportunities and risks associated with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEP analysis)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from World Future Society preferred)
