Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, societal trends, and disruptive forces affecting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, trend analysis, and impact assessments
- Deliver executive briefings and whitepapers translating complex future insights into actionable business strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies into product development and innovation pipelines
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs to track paradigm-shifting developments
- Author thought leadership content positioning the organization as a future-ready industry authority
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused research roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic change methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Economics, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-strategy initiatives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal megatrends
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS, SFI) strongly preferred
