Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design and implement robust, scalable web applications from the ground up using modern web technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices across the team.
- System Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the frontend and backend, optimizing load times and ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers, providing technical mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Testing: Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability and stability.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Frontend: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and CSS frameworks (Tailwind/Bootstrap).
- Backend: Solid experience with Node.js or Python, and RESTful API design.
- Databases: Experience working with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Cloud: Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Tools: Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Location: Must be willing to work in Seattle, WA (or be a current resident).
