Role Overview
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable web applications. You will work closely with our UX/UI team to translate wireframes into high-fidelity code. This is a critical role driving our digital transformation in the automotive tech sector.
What You Will Do
• Lead the development of responsive, user-friendly web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and optimize data flow.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and establish coding standards.
• Troubleshoot complex frontend issues and improve site performance and accessibility.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to architectural decisions.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex front-end interfaces using React, Redux, and modern CSS frameworks.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Work with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into pixel-perfect code.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across all devices.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Deep expertise in React.js and state management libraries.
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
