Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and deployment of the official fan engagement platform, ensuring 99.99% uptime during peak event hours.
- Oversee real-time data analytics dashboards that provide insights into fan behavior, stadium congestion, and security metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ticketing systems with mobile applications for a frictionless user experience.
- Manage vendor relationships for stadium Wi-Fi and IoT deployments, ensuring robust connectivity across all venues.
- Develop and test disaster recovery protocols to safeguard critical event data against cyber threats and technical failures.
- Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for stadium operations staff to ensure technical readiness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a specific focus on large-scale event technology or consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Proven track record of managing complex IT projects with budgets exceeding $5M.
- Deep understanding of network security, data privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA), and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
