Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure solutions using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation for high-security federal applications
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime for critical systems
- Implement zero-trust security frameworks and compliance protocols
- Mentor junior engineers and drive DevOps best practices across the organization
- Collaborate with agile teams to deploy containerized microservices
- Manage incident response and disaster recovery planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years in DevOps/SRE with federal or enterprise cloud environments
- Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration
- Certified AWS/GCP DevOps Engineer or equivalent
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Demonstrable success in migrating legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
