Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy advanced ML models for predictive analytics and real-time decision support systems
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from data acquisition to stakeholder presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI for executive-level insights
- Maintain data governance frameworks ensuring compliance with federal regulations
- Mentor junior data scientists and conduct peer code reviews
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in data science with federal government or regulated industry
- Expertise in Python, R, and SQL with proficiency in scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Proven track record of deploying production-grade ML pipelines at scale
- Strong statistical analysis skills with experimental design experience
- Clearance eligibility or active government security clearance required
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
