Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced machine learning models for predictive analytics and pattern recognition
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from data collection to stakeholder presentation
- Collaborate with government agencies and private clients to define analytical requirements
- Develop data visualization dashboards using Python (Plotly, Dash) and Tableau
- Conduct statistical analysis and A/B testing to validate hypotheses
- Mentor junior data scientists and ensure best practices in data governance
- Present findings to executive stakeholders with clear, actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of professional data science experience with proven portfolio
- Expertise in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn) and SQL
- Strong statistical modeling skills (regression, time series, clustering)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and big data technologies
- Clearance eligibility required for government contracts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
