Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data warehouses using cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability and accuracy for reporting and modeling.
- Optimize data architectures for high performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and governance.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to the engineering team.
- troubleshoot complex data issues and ensure 99.9% system uptime.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
- Expert proficiency in SQL and at least one major programming language (Python, Java, or Scala).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing (Snowflake/Redshift), and Big Data technologies (Kafka, Spark).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering high-quality code.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance if required.
