Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 security operations center (SOC) monitoring and threat detection
- Conduct advanced forensic analysis on cyber incidents and threat intelligence
- Develop/implement security protocols for federal infrastructure compliance
- Coordinate cross-agency threat response and reporting protocols
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize security automation workflows
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on classified systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with federal/government clearance (active or eligible)
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Hands-on experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and NIST SP 800-53
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux hardening and network security
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance within 30 days of hire
