Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and forensic investigations for zero-day vulnerabilities
- Develop incident response playbooks and coordinate breach mitigation efforts
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Implement NIST and FISMA compliance frameworks
- Lead security awareness training for government personnel
- Collaborate with CISA and FBI threat intelligence initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network protocols
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
