Responsibilities
- Lead incident response for active cyber threats targeting federal networks
- Analyze malware, ransomware, and APT campaigns using Splunk and CrowdStrike
- Develop threat detection signatures for EDR/SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on classified systems
- Coordinate with DHS/FISAC incident response protocols
- Maintain 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
- Mentor junior analysts during high-stakes operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with federal sector clearance
- CISSP/CISM/GHOS certification required
- Expertise in MITRE ATT&CK framework and NIST CSF
- Advanced scripting in Python/PowerShell for automation
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks and CrowdStrike
- Active TS/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Proven track record in incident response tabletop exercises
