Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime for mission-critical applications
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement robust monitoring solutions with Datadog
- Conduct disaster recovery planning and execute failover drills quarterly
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and security protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience with professional certifications
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
- Proven track record optimizing cloud spend for large-scale environments
- Experience with microservices architecture and API gateway implementation
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
