Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Lead the strategic planning process to align technical infrastructure with business goals for the 2026 timeframe.
- Architect Future-Proof Solutions: Design scalable, high-performance systems architecture capable of handling exponential growth and emerging technologies.
- Lead Technical Innovation: Identify and evaluate cutting-edge technologies (e.g., Quantum Readiness, AI Integration) and drive their adoption into our core stack.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust architectural solutions.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Mentor junior architects and engineers, enforcing best practices and ensuring code quality across the organization.
- Disaster Recovery & Security: Oversee the development of comprehensive disaster recovery plans and security protocols for critical 2026 infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or strategic planning role.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to forecast technology trends and plan for the long-term (5+ years) architectural needs of a SaaS platform.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex architectural challenges and leading teams through digital transformation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
