Responsibilities
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead the design and implementation of advanced AI models, focusing on scalability and efficiency for the year 2026 and beyond.
- Model Architecture: Architect and optimize deep neural networks, specifically large language models and transformer architectures, to improve performance and reduce inference costs.
- Research & Publication: Contribute to cutting-edge research papers and patents, establishing Nexus 2026 as a thought leader in the AI space.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate theoretical research into deployable production solutions.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engineering department.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve model accuracy, latency, and throughput to meet enterprise-grade standards.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML research or software engineering with a heavy focus on machine learning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Deep understanding of distributed systems and high-performance computing.
- Specialization: Proven track record of working with NLP, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex, undefined problems with innovative solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
