Job Description
Join the Architects of Tomorrow.
Apex Horizon Systems is pioneering the 2026 AI Initiative, a groundbreaking project aimed at developing self-evolving autonomous agents. We are looking for a visionary Senior AI Research Engineer to spearhead the development of next-generation Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative vision systems.
In this role, you will not just implement existing solutions; you will research and architect the core algorithms that will define the capabilities of AI by 2026 and beyond. You will work in a high-performance environment with access to massive compute resources and collaborate with top-tier engineers to push the boundaries of what is possible.
Why Join Us?
- Work on the definitive 2026 AI Roadmap with a clear path to industry leadership.
- Competitive equity package and performance bonuses.
- State-of-the-art hardware infrastructure.
- Flexible remote-first culture with quarterly innovation sprints in SF.
Responsibilities
- Research & Development: Lead the design and implementation of novel neural network architectures specifically tailored for the 2026 deployment cycle.
- Model Optimization: Reduce inference latency and energy consumption by 40% for large-scale generative models using quantization and pruning techniques.
- Prototype Engineering: Build and validate proof-of-concept prototypes for autonomous decision-making systems and multi-modal AI agents.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, conducting code reviews and architectural reviews to ensure code quality and scalability.
- Publication & Patents: Publish high-impact research papers and file patents for proprietary algorithms developed during the 2026 project.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to translate complex research findings into scalable, user-facing technologies.
Qualifications
