Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Solutions: Design and implement hybrid AI models that efficiently interface with quantum processors to solve complex optimization problems.
- Algorithm Optimization: Refine quantum circuit algorithms to minimize error rates and maximize qubit coherence times for production environments.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with physicists and software engineers to translate theoretical quantum mechanics into practical software applications.
- System Integration: Integrate quantum APIs into existing enterprise-grade machine learning pipelines using Python, C++, and Qiskit.
- Research & Development: Stay ahead of industry trends, specifically focusing on quantum error correction and NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) device management.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Lead technical workshops for junior engineers and ensure code quality across the quantum engineering team.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Mechanics.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically focused on quantum computing or advanced AI systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow), C++, and quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of quantum gates, superposition, entanglement, and quantum error correction protocols.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of tackling unsolvable problems using novel computational approaches.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
