Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement a scalable, microservices-based architecture optimized for AI integration and high-volume traffic.
- Pipeline Optimization: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that ensure the reliability and speed of our deployment cycles.
- AI Integration: Lead the technical strategy for embedding machine learning models into frontend and backend applications.
- Performance Engineering: Optimize web performance metrics (LCP, CLS, FID) to meet the standards of next-gen browsers and hardware.
- Team Mentorship: Guide junior developers and engineers in best practices, code reviews, and architectural decision-making.
- Future-Proofing: Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating emerging technologies like WebGPU and quantum-ready algorithms.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development and system architecture.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Rust, or Go; deep experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Next.js).
- AI Knowledge: Experience integrating APIs from major AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) and understanding of vector databases.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our San Francisco office or a US-based remote location.
