Responsibilities
- Architect & Deploy: Design, train, and deploy advanced machine learning models, specifically focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal AI architectures.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize model inference latency and throughput to ensure real-time performance in high-traffic production environments.
- Research & Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI research, evaluating new papers (NeurIPS, ICML) and implementing cutting-edge techniques such as Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF).
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data scientists to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering, preferably with a focus on AI/ML.
- Tools: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus).
- Cloud: Strong experience deploying models on AWS, GCP, or Azure using containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
