Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable AI Infrastructure: Design and deploy robust, fault-tolerant AI systems capable of handling high-velocity data streams and complex model inference at scale.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead research into emerging AI paradigms, including LLMs, Multi-Agent Systems, and edge computing, translating theoretical papers into practical engineering solutions.
- Technical Roadmap Strategy: Define the long-term technical vision for Horizon Systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends for the 2026 horizon.
- Model Optimization & Efficiency: Oversee the fine-tuning and optimization of large models to ensure minimal latency and maximum throughput on diverse hardware architectures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and security experts to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into user-facing products.
- Compliance & Ethics: Implement rigorous guidelines to ensure AI systems are ethical, unbiased, and compliant with evolving global regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Machine Learning or AI.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks. Proven experience designing microservices and distributed systems.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive projects from conception to deployment.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a track record of solving complex, unstructured problems in high-pressure environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
