Responsibilities
- Architect Design: Design and implement scalable, robust AI systems and infrastructure capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Future-Proofing: Research and prototype emerging technologies (e.g., Transformer variants, Neuromorphic computing) to prepare our stack for the 2026 release cycle.
- Model Optimization: Lead efforts in model compression, quantization, and edge deployment to ensure low-latency AI experiences.
- Ethical AI Governance: Establish and enforce guidelines for bias mitigation, data privacy, and responsible AI deployment.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex technical concepts into clear strategies for product and executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering and AI/ML development.
- Core Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, C++, and experience with major ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
- System Design: Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Algorithm Expertise: Proven track record of developing novel algorithms or optimizing existing ones for production environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical strategies to non-technical audiences.
