Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant AI infrastructure capable of handling real-time data streams at scale.
- Model Development: Lead the research and development of proprietary Machine Learning algorithms, focusing on Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision for the 2026 suite.
- System Optimization: Continuously refine model latency and accuracy, reducing inference costs by up to 40% through aggressive quantization and pruning.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor a team of junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Collaborate with product leadership to define technical milestones and bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical application.
- Deployment: Oversee the end-to-end CI/CD pipeline for AI models, ensuring rapid iteration and reliable deployment to cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior architectural or lead role.
- Core Technologies: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with modern MLOps tools (Kubeflow, MLflow, Seldon).
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and serverless computing paradigms.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, unstructured problems in high-stakes environments.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
