Responsibilities
- Design & Implement: Create sophisticated 2D animations and micro-interactions using HTML5, CSS3, SVG, and JavaScript libraries (GSAP, Anime.js, Lottie).
- Performance Optimization: Rigorously optimize animation performance to ensure 60fps rendering on all devices, including mobile, while minimizing battery drain.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with UX/UI designers to translate static concepts into dynamic, responsive, and accessible user journeys.
- Technical Architecture: Develop and maintain reusable animation libraries and component systems to streamline the development process across projects.
- Browser Compatibility: Ensure seamless cross-browser compatibility and strict adherence to WCAG accessibility standards for all motion elements.
- Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices for modern frontend engineering.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a specific focus on 2D animation and motion design.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in CSS3 animations, SVG manipulation, and JavaScript animation frameworks.
- Tools: Proficiency in modern tools like Figma, Sketch, and prototyping software.
- Optimization: Strong understanding of rendering loops, hardware acceleration, and performance profiling techniques.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
