Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in fast-paced emergency department setting
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and condition changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Provide patient education and emotional support
- Adhere to hospital policies and JCAHO standards
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN preferred (ADN with 2+ years ER experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
