Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency department settings with rapid assessment and intervention
- Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving procedures as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current unrestricted RN license in Florida (required)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- BSN degree or higher preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in Epic electronic health records system
