Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Utilize cutting-edge technology including advanced monitoring systems and EHR documentation
- Provide family education and emotional support during high-stress situations
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement process)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience encouraged)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 1 year critical care experience in acute care setting
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system (training provided for new hires)
