Your work will directly impact national security, drug discovery, climate modeling, and financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable quantum computing infrastructure supporting 100+ qubit operations
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for 2026-era data security
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical algorithm optimization for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with NASA, DARPA, and CERN on quantum-accelerated scientific modeling
- Establish quantum network topology with quantum key distribution (QKD) integration
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum computing principles and best practices
- Author whitepapers on quantum infrastructure standards for ISO 2026 compliance
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum computing systems (IBM Q, Rigetti, or D-Wave)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architecture design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum information processing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# programming frameworks
- Top-secret clearance eligibility or active clearance preferred
- Experience with quantum-safe cryptography (NIST PQC standardization)
- Demonstrated success in scaling quantum systems beyond 50 qubits
