Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop cryogenic cooling systems for quantum processors operating at 10mK
- Implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Integrate photonic quantum networks with classical supercomputing infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish industry standards for quantum-safe cryptographic frameworks
- Secure $50M+ in R&D grants for next-gen quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum hardware development or cryogenic systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
