Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop high-performance quantum software libraries compatible with major quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to optimize software-hardware interfaces
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for real-world enterprise solutions
- Lead debugging and error mitigation strategies for quantum circuit executions
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks and publish research findings
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum programming best practices and emerging standards
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Quantum Engineering (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, error correction, and noise mitigation techniques
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Published research in quantum computing or demonstrated industry leadership in quantum projects
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
