Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Lead research initiatives for 2026 quantum computing applications
- Mentor junior researchers and publish peer-reviewed papers
- Secure funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Understanding of quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Clearance eligibility for government-funded projects
