Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing high-performance computing frameworks
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols on IBM, Rigetti, and D-Wave platforms
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in top-tier journals/conferences
- Develop error mitigation strategies to enhance quantum circuit fidelity beyond 99.9%
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and stakeholder briefings
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Published work in Nature/Science journals or equivalent quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in research grants or industry partnerships
