Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and AI optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop error-correction techniques for 2026-generation quantum processors
- Collaborate with NASA and CERN on quantum-enhanced simulation models
- Mentor PhD interns from Stanford and MIT quantum programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry breakthroughs)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum gate-level programming (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published peer-reviewed research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in Python/C++ with HPC optimization experience
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Track record of securing competitive grants (NSF/DoE/DARPA preferred)
- Fluency in quantum circuit design and tomography methodologies
