Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals annually
- Secure $2M+ in government/private grants for experimental quantum research
- Mentor PhD candidates and build next-gen quantum talent pipeline
- Develop proprietary error-correction protocols for industrial quantum networks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with IBM/Google/Hardware
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Proven grant-writing success with federal agencies (DARPA, NSF)
