Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors with 100+ qubits
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science and present at quantum conferences
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for complex molecular and material systems
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in quantum computing or high-impact computational physics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
