Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research on quantum error correction codes for fault-tolerant systems

- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at major quantum conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and Qiskit/PennyLane
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Proven track record of securing government research funding
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for NP-hard problems
