Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead quantum error correction research to achieve fault-tolerant computing by 2026
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum-optimized software stacks
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in DoE/NASA grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-gen financial systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and Q# programming language
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with quantum annealing and gate-based models
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts to practical implementations
