Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate on quantum hardware integration with silicon photonics teams

- Author patents and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers on quantum computing methodologies
- Participate in DARPA and NSF quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum assembly
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system interfaces
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theory
- Security clearance preferred for government projects
