Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop error-corrected quantum systems
- Lead research projects targeting quantum advantage in real-world scenarios
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF, DoD, and private foundation grants

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Deep expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and HPC frameworks
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
