Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit architectures
- Publish in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $1M+ in DoE/NASA research grants
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit simulation (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing
- Experience with superconducting or photonic qubits
- Strong track record of interdisciplinary collaboration
- US citizenship required for government contracts
