Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for NISQ-era devices with error correction optimization
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for 2026 deployment
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-resistant cryptography protocols
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and drive open-source quantum software initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and low-level quantum assembly
- Proven track record publishing quantum algorithms or hardware innovations
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum simulation tools (QASM, Quil, or custom tensor networks)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing environments
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
