Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum circuits
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure patents for quantum innovations
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum computing principles and applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, APS March Meeting)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and complexity theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
