Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware interfaces
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually on quantum error correction
- Develop patentable IP for quantum-resistant encryption methods
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning applications
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026 graduates encouraged)
- 2+ years experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit simulation
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in quantum information theory
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
