Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerance systems
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with emerging hardware architectures
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge theoretical concepts with physical implementations
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, quantum information theory, and decoherence mitigation
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms with practical applications
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and high-performance computing
