Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects in cryptography, drug discovery, and AI optimization
- Secure patents for quantum computing methodologies and applications
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to lab innovation roadmap
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (required)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
