Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Define and communicate the long-term technical vision, strategy, and execution plan for the company leading up to the year 2026.
- Emerging Technology Assessment: Identify, evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Computing, etc.) to assess their viability for future integration.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with C-suite executives and product leaders to align technical capabilities with business goals.
- Architecture Oversight: Guide the technical architecture of key strategic projects to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Resource Allocation: Manage the technical budget and resources to maximize ROI on innovation initiatives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Innovation Labs: Establish and manage internal 'innovation labs' dedicated to rapid prototyping of future-state solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in a senior technical leadership role, with at least 3 years in a strategic planning or R&D capacity.
- Tech Stack: Deep understanding of modern cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML frameworks, and data-driven decision-making methodologies.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to look beyond current trends and anticipate future industry shifts.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change within large organizations.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on solving complex, long-term problems.
