Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum hardware optimization techniques
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with theoretical physicists and hardware engineers
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Prototype and validate quantum solutions using industry-standard simulators and testbeds
- Secure research grants and intellectual property for breakthrough quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development using Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks
- Deep expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Strong publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
