Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability in 2026-generation quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into practical quantum circuits
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with partners like NASA and MIT
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our open-source quantum toolkit
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex quantum systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
