What You'll Accomplish:

- Shape our 5-year quantum computing roadmap with industry partners
Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms with error correction for practical deployment
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical computing models
- Secure $2M+ in federal research grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Translate theoretical models into scalable hardware-software interfaces
- Present findings at global tech conferences (IEEE, ACM)
- Drive ethical frameworks for quantum technology adoption
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing or gate-model systems
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Track record of securing government or corporate research funding
- Expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Clearance for DoD research projects preferred
