Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and AI
- Lead 5+ experimental quantum computing projects annually
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction protocols
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers and quantum computing interns
- Secure $500K+ in government/industry research grants
- Present findings at global quantum technology summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
