Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for computational acceleration
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum software architecture
- Lead research in quantum machine learning and error correction techniques
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum systems with 100+ qubits
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
- Secure research funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing experience
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience with quantum hardware calibration protocols
